We are excited to welcome our 4th collaborator a New York based photographer and interdisciplinary artist, Roberta Fineberg (RF) aka a.muse.
Sojourner Ruth’s Metaphorically loaded gun:
With a metaphorical loaded gun in hand, a modern day “Sojourner Ruth” escapes to freedom with only herself to look after.
The installation centers around women taking action.
It includes black-and-white photography; acrylic, watercolor & archival ink on handmade paper; and acrylic, watercolor, & archival ink on watercolor paper.
Escape to Freedom by RF is on view for 3 months, beginning March 10 - MAY 31 during operating hours at Jewell House https://www.jewellhouse.nyc: 10am-7pm daily. All pieces are for sale. Please inquire.
